We progressives deserve a laugh. And laughter is, in fact, good medicine.
The best show in TV history, The Sopranos, just wrapped it up, and instead of mourning the loss (which, c’mon, would be nuts since was just a TV show for crying out loud), I’ll laugh about it. Below you’ll find a spoof of The Sopranos that aired on MAD TV.
And why should you watch it? Because laughter, my dear progressives, is good for you: “Laughter is a healing activity.” Let me break it down for you…
- Laughter boosts the immune system.
- Laughter increases oxygenation of your body at both the cellular and organ level.
- Laughing boosts circulation, [and enhances] the flexibility of various joints throughout your body.
Plus, as we reported before, studies have shown that laughter makes us more altruistic. So enjoy a giggle, chuckle, guffaw, and cackle on us. It’s Saturday. You deserve it.
